The child is 2 years old. Come on. How old is the lady taking care of the children? Aren't the people working there suppost to be profecionals. Have you ever hear of the saying: kill him with kindness. If any mother do that in public to her child I'm sure someone complain to social services. What is the difference in here. None. She kicked the child after he was sitted in time out. And like it wasn't enough she hit him on the side of the face with an object. Are you kidding me? If she can't handle the child because I'm sure he need more attention that anyone, why doesn't she ask for an assistant, ask his mother to fix the problem or ask the director to talk to the mother to fix the problem or the child will have to be relocated to another school. I can't believe they didn't press charges. What better prove that the video.

Who knows who the police are these days anyway. Why are there so many unmarked cars? Why would the Toll Facility Police need unmarked cars? It is a sure thing that someone will impersonate a police officer because the everyday citizen is so unsure who the good guys are...

If you own or rent in this neighborhood then trim the bushes yourselves and install spotlights. The city can only do so much, it is time to take repsonsibility for yourselves.

if you own the homes in the area or even if you are renting, trim your own bushes and install spotlights. The city can help but not without your effort.

The man who boarded my nephew's boat late Sunday night was was NOT shot, he was stabbed in self-defense with a knife my nephew used for fishing (and happened to be on the boat). It is pretty hard to explain why you entered a boat at 1am (that was not yours) with a hatchet and proceeded to bust/chop down the entry door into the cabin where two people were sound asleep. Furthermore, If he is so innocent, why don't the other 2 individuals who fled the scene come forward and tell their side of the story. Maybe because they know they too will be charged with a felony homocide. Mr. Driscoll's family just moved into this neighborhood a few months ago and prior to this incident, caused problems with other neighnors in such a short time not to mention he is affiliated with the Hell's Angel's. Yep, sounds like a fine up-standing citizen to me.

And why was he out in the public anyway. How many children have to be hurt before these sickos are put away where they cant hurt innocent children.

Quiet Rockland just blogged, posted, and published a hand-hewn list of over 1,200 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) e-mail addresses on its website – and asks that you please consider using them for your own purposes: http://ejectsturgell.blogspot.com The FAA’s e-mail address formula is fairly simple, as you will see on the list. The ‘minds’ of FAA management, however, are even simpler. This very weekend, FAA wants America to “celebrate” FAA’s 50th Anniversary as fostering “the safest transportation system in the history of the world”. (Verbatim quote, FAA Acting Administrator Robert A. “Bobby” Sturgell, speech entitled “The Credit Goes To You”, Washington, D.C., August 21, 2008): http://www.faa.gov/news/speeches/news_story.cfm?newsID=10274 FAA and its failed Acting Administrator ‘Bobby’ Sturgell still persist in wanting you to believe that we are somehow in the ‘safest period in aviation history’. As within the last 24 hours, there are Ten (10) more victimized innocent decedents in Moab, Utah whose souls will now testify to you exactly otherwise. Quiet Rockland prays for them and their families. Anyone who is outraged like me at the continuing criminal malfeasance of the Failed Aviation Agency, may consider voicing that outrage directly to the people that comprise that white-collar criminal ersatz federal agency acronymed as FAA, and directly to failed FAA Acting Administrator Bobby Sturgell.

I am an artist and children are wonderful subjects to paint and photograph, however, in this society where children are molested at such a high rate...we are better off not exposing their private parts...and their identies to the public, how necessary is that anyway?

It's Sally Mann all over again... The same old rule applies. Don't like it? Don't view it. I will say the paper probably should not have published the pictures, if for no other reason than they open themselves up to this sort of thing. Pictures like the one that accompanies this article should have been good enough. The fact that "some pedophile might see it" is not a good enough reason to censor it. If we go by that standard we will have to ban all the Pampers ads too. We will have to file criminal charges against anyone who takes naked pictures of their kids. Say goodbye to the newborn pictures and the pictures of the kids in the tub, because some pervert might see it. Makes perfect sense. I have news for you, perverts find ways to get what they want. No laws, no censorship, and no moms on street corners can stop it completely. Moms can do everything in their power to protect their kids and they still may fail. This is art. This is not pornography. The children were not harmed, no matter how much people might try to guess at what might happen to them. If negative results start to occur, it is up to the artist parent, not some stranger, to deal with it. Nudity is not inherently pornographic, and we should not sacrifice our First Amendment to appease a few reactionary people who are not qualified to say what is or is not art.
