Man shot in West Baltimore Sunday evening and driven to the hospital

A 24-year-old man was shot Sunday evening in West Baltimore according to police.

Just minutes before 7 p.m. police responded to the 2200 block of N. Pukaski Street for a shooting.

Upon arrival police were unable to locate the victim.

At the same time a 24-year-old man arrived at an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Detectives quickly determined that the victim had been shot on Pukaski Street and was driven to the hospital.

Citywide Shooting Detectives responded out and have assumed control of the investigation.

Detectives are looking to identify witnesses and suspect(s) and are hoping to retrieve video footage.
