Baltimore County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who tried to break into a home in the 1100 block of Arran Rd in Towson just after midnight Friday, Oct 6.
Police say the burglar was caught on the homeowner’s surveillance camera entering an exterior sunroom just after midnight, peeking through the sliding glass door into the kitchen where the homeowner was. A few minutes later, the burglar was caught on camera walking around the sunroom carrying what appears a gun in his right hand as he attempts to open the sliding door until he seems to be scared off by the homeowner’s dog.
The suspect left the yard for about six minutes before returning through a rear gate attempting to open the sliding door a second time. Police say when the dog is heard barking on the surveillance footage again, the man flees.
The homeowner then followed his dog outside where he saw the man fleeing through a back alley.
