A sinkhole in the 700 block of Cathedral Street is causing road closures in Mount Vernon.
Cathedral Street will be closed between Madison Street and Mt. Vernon Place. All traffic is being routed around the hole, according to the Baltimore Department of Public Works,
The cause is under investigation. DPW recommends drivers plan alternate routes for the morning commute.
